Critical Care Procedures (Intubation /Chest Drain/ CVL)
The course will cover the following topics, via a combination of interactive lectures/case-based discussions and smaller group breakout sessions with hands-on:
- Developing a structured approach to airway assessment and management in critically ill patients.
- Understanding the principles and techniques of central venous line (CVL) insertion and management.
- Performing chest drain insertion and management safely and effectively.
- Recognizing and managing common complications associated with these procedures.
